The 20th Week of School opens with a clarification about what the spinning station’s interior is supposed to look like.
Students ring in the 2nd semester with optimism about their academic futures, but criticism is levied at new school rules deemed too strict.
Show Choir’s Act II and Vintage groups performed at Onalaska the past weekend, with sophomore Zach Liebeskind earning an award for best male voice.
Sports includes mixed performances from most teams, while Girls Basketball won everything. Boys Swim hosted the annual Sprint Invite, swimmers Joshua Youngwerth and Julian Kuehn reflect on the positives of the event. Also, Senior Dylan Thurber explains to the audience the meaning of Y-Ball, an activity in which many Neenah boys participate.
Extracurricular Events for the week include:
Stomping at the Savoy – a Saturday night band concert in the style of the 1930s’ – admission is $5 and begins at 19:00
Latino Club Game Night – sign up for the 24th in Edficiency, and enjoy a slate of Spanish-language board games
Circus Club – As the name suggests, attendees will learn the inner workings of this entertainment industry, teaching rather unconventional skills with or without smiles.
Weather this week will see highs flirting with Freezing and clouds, with precipitation on Thursday.
