2023 Lip Dub Calls on NHS Activities
Eleven years ago the students of NHS put together Neenah’s first lip dub. As a way to honor current students, and the last class to graduate from the current high school, NHS sports and activities will once again film a lip dub. A lip dub is a sort of music video, where popular music is lip-synched with people singing the music. Lip dubbing was a popular trend in the 2010s, and many high schools around Neenah also created their own lip dubs. Fond du Lac created one in 2012, and Kimberly in 2014.
The 2023 lip dub will include an underwater pool scene, incorporating the climbing wall, football stadium, fieldhouse, weight room, wrestling room, cafeteria, band room, auditorium, library and the very hallways that you walk in every day. While showcasing the current high school in which so many great memories have been made since 1973, the stars of any good lip dub are the students.
During the May 12 student assembly in Ron Einerson Fieldhouse, a final scene will showcase the whole of the NHS student body. In order to bring as much energy and creativity as possible to this historic production, all NHS activities are asked to participate. The filming locations and times vary, so see the attached schedule for further specifics. At NHS we are all part of something greater than ourselves. That is why we need everyone to participate. Not part of any co-curricular group? No problem, your adviser from your champion period may sign up to be part of our lip dub filming on May 18. Additional details about the filming are found in this presentation. Please direct any additional questions you might have to Mr. John Morgen at [email protected]
