NHS hopes to make this year’s Homecoming the biggest event yet by teaming up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to raise money and provide a week of activities for students and the community.

Two years have passed since NHS re-invented Homecoming with “The Comeback” and students have again planned Homecoming with a greater purpose. With the Wisconsin Make-A-Wish Foundation, students have created “Wish’N” with the hope to raise $15,000 to grant three wishes.

Monday

Dress Up: Jersey Day  

15% of all purchases at Cherry on Top in downtown Neenah will be donated to Make-A-Wish

Scavenger Hunt begins

Tuesday

Dress Up: Super Hero

Drive-In Movie:

• Parking lot must be cleared by 4 pm for setup
• Parking starts at 5:30 pm
• “Big Hero 6” starts at dusk
• Broken Tree Pizza
  • Pre-order pizzas for $10 in cafeteria during lunch hours Monday & Tuesday
  • For sale at drive-in movie for $10 per pizza
  • 90% of proceeds go to Make-A-Wish
• Preferred parking available with donation

Wednesday

Dress Up: Neon Day

Powder Puff Football:

• 7 pm in Rocket Stadium
• Teams show up at 6:30 for picture and rules
• Jimmy John’s Subs to host with Subs
• Team captains pick up team t-shirt at school on Monday

Thursday

Dress Up: Be A Star (Superstar, rockstar, etc.)

Wish’N for Night Out:

• 4:30-5 pm: K-6 NJSD students can be dropped off at Door 3 for free babysitting by NHS students, all donations will benefit Make-A-Wish
• 5-7 pm: Proceeds from these area establishments will be donated to Make-A-Wish: Perkins, Cranky Pats, Greenes Pour House, Ground Round
• 7-7:30 pm: Children must be picked up

5th Quarter:

• 7-9:30 pm at Memorial Pavilion (off of Gay St.)
• FREE food, prizes, night games
• Rain or shine, dress for the weather

Friday

Dress Up: Red and White

Pep Assembly at 2:30-3:30 pm in the Fieldhouse

Parade:

• 4 pm: setup begins at Neenah outdoor pool, must be present by 4:30
• Parade path: South Park to Wisconsin To Church Street.  
• 5 pm: Parade starts

Alumni/Student cookout starts at 6 pm in Rocket Stadium

Neenah vs WI Rapids starts at 7 pm

Saturday

Homecoming Dance

Tickets are $10.00 each and must be purchased by Friday after school.  They will be sold Monday – Friday next week before and after school. Guest passes for students bring a guest that do not go to NHS must be filled out and completed by Wednesday at 4:00 PM.  Forms are in room 321.
