Rowdies Support Volleyball in Hortonville

NHS Rocket Rowdies supports girls’ volleyball game in Hortonville on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

Junior and senior Rocket Rowdy representatives attend most school sporting events, bringing pride and energetic cheers. This group of students stop at nothing to support school events, even if it means making a 40 minute drive to an away game.

Rowdies can be found at the front of a student section, shouting and cheering for their beloved teams. Tuesday they cheered the girls to victory in a close game against their rival team, Hortonville. Neenah won the first two games but fell behind and lost the third, then had a quick recovery and secured the win with the fourth game.

Rocket Rowdies add a new element of fun and surprise to away games that usually leave a vacancy in the guest student section. Each game sports a different theme in clothing and apparel to set NHS students apart from the opponents. Tuesday was deemed “country day” and students went all out in school spirit.
