Humans of NHS – Elise Murphy & Emily Tang
“I’m involved with theatre; exclusively. It’s a lot of work and involves a lot of work and a lot of drama, but at the end of the day, it’s all worth it. On an average show week, I’m at school over ten hours each day, maybe more.” – Emily Tang, junior
“This year I am a little mixed with cross country, which was in the fall, and then the winter and spring plays. Between cross country and drama, they’re different kinds of work. Sports is a lot of physical work, but not as much time, as say a drama or play is. Plays are a lot of mental and emotional work because it’s a lot of memorizing not only lines but where to stand and when to move and what not. Cross country, you just run, you just gotta do it physically, but drama isn’t like that.” – Elise Murphy, senior
