Here is a brief Q and A to assist students connect beyond facial recognition with Door 3 receptionist Angela Henslin.
Q: What is your main job here at NHS?
A: Scan ID’s, verifying that all students belong to NHS for safety reasons; check to make sure students are where they are supposed to be; visitor check-in; various office duties that are assigned.
Q: What was your previous job?
A: Worked 11 years with the Department of Corrections, first as a correctional officer and eventually as a sergeant.
Q: Why did you switch to this job at NHS?
A: To be in a more positive, rewarding environment.
Q: What is your goal at NHS?
A: To provide a fun and positive environment, while still maintaining structure in order to keep the school safe for all.
Q: Do you have a family?
A: Yes, married with two kids: one boy and one girl
Q: Where is your hometown?
A: Princeton, Wis.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: Buffalo Wild Wings
Q: What are some of you top hobbies?
A: Spending time with family

A: Jamaica and Florida

A: Walking, riding Bikes, playing outside and baking treats together

A: I have a few favorite TV shows I DVR, so I like to watch them once my kids go to bed. These include: Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Grey’s Anatomy.

A: Graduating with honors and being a member of the National Honor Society.
