Trivia Night Proves Success for Eco Club
Trivia Night, a fundraiser for Eco Club, was a successful night of trivia, pizza and friends.
Trivia Night took place on Feb. 8 as part of the Winterfest festivities. Six teams competed over the course of three hours and answered questions from a variety of categories, such as geography, biology, history, and miscellaneous. There was a break in the intense trivia where the teams enjoyed a pizza dinner, and then they were back to their rooms for more questions.
Some clubs such as the Satellite created its own team, and others were groups of friends looking to win the title of Trivia Night Champion. At the end of the night the winners were revealed, a group of senior students who gladly accepted the title and their gift cards.
Trivia Night was a night of fun and mind boggling trivia, and also raised money for Eco Club to persue their future endeavors.

I was also a member of the winning team and I can second Collin’s notion of how great it was. Like he said, civic engagement means more than just political or activist contributions, and it was fun to support a good cause in a different and really engaging way.

This article accurately depicted the night with simple yet effective diction. I enjoyed the phrase “mind-boggling trivia,” however I do not agree with the use of the Oxford comma.

As a participant for the past two years (and winner) of Trivia Night I can speak to how awesome the competition was. Civic engagement does not always mean doing volunteer work, it could be having fun at school. By participating in Trivia Night all money raised is donated to Eco Club which is a good cause.
