Students enjoy the warm weather and a bite to eat before the showing of Lion King.

Last night’s drive-in movie fundraiser for Hurricane Harvey smashed the figurative box office. Oliva Mauk, student council president, announced that many students came out early and donation collection succeeded all expectations. Mauk added optimistically that she hopes the student support for homecoming activities continues throughout the rest of the week.

A well deserved bravo to all of those in attendance last night for Lion King. Make sure to attend night games being held at Memorial Park at 7 p.m and Powder Puff football at Rocket Stadium on Wednesday.
