Whenever I see anything regarding “Teen Trends,” it always reminds me how little I appear to have in common with other people my age. I had no clue that 81% of teens used Snapchat daily. Of course, I don’t have Snapchat, so I guess it makes sense that I wouldn’t know. Anyway, setting aside all of my own personal stuff, I think this is a solid infographic. I think it’s really cool to see this information laid out in a simple, efficient way.

This infographic is very well done! The range of information is intriguing to me, a fellow teenager, and some of it was somewhat surprising. The fact about teenagers spending so much money on food is something that does not surprise me, as I regularly go out to lunch with my friends or grab a smoothie or other drink while on my release. However, the fact that the Legend of Zelda is the top video game for teenagers does surprise me. I thought that teenagers tend to be more drawn towards games with guns, like some of the other video games on the list. The Legend of Zelda has had many different versions, yet all of them are unique. Finally, the fact about teens preferring athletic clothing does not surprise me at all. When I walk through the halls, I regularly see athletic sneakers, athletic brands such as Under Armor, Nike, Adidas, and more, and all types of exercise clothing items. Generally, I prefer jeans and a tee shirt or sweater to athletic clothing, but I can definitely see why other teens prefer athletic clothing due to its popularity and level of comfort.
