The source of our hobbies is intriguing. For senior, varsity football player, Logan Eiden, his passion comes from his dad.

“My dad was a big, football player. He planned to go play for Minnesota, but his dad died when he was 17.”

This forced him to be the man.

Since Logan’s dad couldn’t pursue his collegiate football dreams, he pushes Logan; however, Logan questions if this dream is his, or if he’s reliving it for his dad.

Nonetheless, Logan explains: football isn’t only his dad’s dream, he wants it.  He wants to be apart of the game.  Unfortunately, it can feel like a job.

“The pressure really gets to you.”

On the journey to achieving his dream, he takes pride in his high school career, but he realizes more shapes him.

Combining sports and school, working multiple jobs, and believing he has to be a religious/godly athlete to be a role model; Logan had to quickly figure out who he is to deal with it. As time goes on, he finds himself.

“I’m a Karma believer: all things happen for a reason.”

It’s time to appreciate everything you have now; you don’t know what you have until it’s gone.

Logan never takes his life or dreams for granted. If you aren’t blessed for what you have now, how will you in the future?
