Humans of NHS – Hannah Farrell
September 15, 2019
“One piece of advice I would tell my freshman self is there aren’t gonna be a lot of people that you can relate to. I think it’s very cool that there are a lot of people at Neenah High School who can relate to each other, but it has also made me feel like an outcast. I’ve realized that it’s okay though. Either through college or outside of school, I know I will find my place one day. I know it isn’t here and may be the same for other students as well. You need to know you will be okay and you can grow on your own as a person and later will you find someone who you have connections with.” — Hannah Farrell, class of 2020

I know this is a really old post, and no one is going to see this comment, but I had some great chats with Hannah last year. She’s so cool! I love her honestly and optimism that she will find her people someday. It’s good for all of us to remember: Challenge yourself to start a conversation with someone you wouldn’t normally talk to. You might just find a new best friend.
