Guitarist Describes His Musical Journey and Inspirations

For many people music is a spiritual experience. In some cases music can feel psychedelic and move you in ways nothing else can. Music, for Cade Kleisner, is the air he breathes.

“Music has a huge influence on my life; I love everything about it. I’ll always have an earbud in no matter what.”

For Cade Kleisner music is everything. “It’s the best way to cool down or hype yourself up.”

From a young age Cade’s father supplied him with an array of music. His father, a drummer, models a passion for making and listening to music. Mr. Kleisner hands his passion to his two sons Cade and Sam.

Unable to narrow artists which inspire him on his journey through playing music, he prioritizes those leaving an impact. “There are artists I respect for lyrical composure.  There are artists I respect for skill with the instrument in general, so for me it’s more just guitar.”

The few artists he name are Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison and Stevie Ray Vaughan.  These artists push the boundaries for what is considered possible at the time.

Granted these three artists are all influential guitarists, he respects all forms of musician whether its their writing skills or technique or their influence on the course of music.

For Cade, guitar is his ultimate way to transpose music. He also plays bass, but he feels so much more freedom with the guitar. With the guitar, he experiments with different gear amps and chords, which is much more restricted on the bass. Guitar allows him to express who he is far better than bass could ever.

And as for the future of Cade’s journey of music, he hopes to one day perform and write his own music as well as be able to show the immense talent and skill, which he works on for many years.
