Holiday Dress Up Days
After the success of Friday’s “Anything but a Backpack” day, there are still two more opportunities for students to show school spirit and partake in the winter dress-up. Today, students wearing red and white can come to room 428 for a free candy cane. Tomorrow, students may arrive at school wearing pajamas in anticipation for Christmas Morning.
Winter Concert
The Band, Orchestra and Choir groups will be performing together at Pickard tonight at 7:30 PM. This performance is viewable live on the NJSD YouTube. Its program will include an assortment of famous holiday tunes, as well as a combined performance of Hallelujah.
Boys’ Varsity Swimming
The varsity Swimming team will have a meet at the Aquatic Center in Fond Du Lac today at 5:30 PM.
Boys’ Varsity and Junior Varsity Wrestling
Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams of Boys’ Wrestling will compete at Kimberly High School. JV will begin at 6:15 PM and run until 8:15, whereas Varsity will begin at 7 and end at 9.
Speech and Debate’s Fundraiser
Debate Team is looking for funds to finance their long-distance trips to national tournaments. As they must pay for these out-of-pocket, they want to have some cash reserves beforehand to lessen the cost. For this, they will be hosting a fundraiser at the Chipotle Grill near the Fox River Mall in Grand Chute tomorrow night from 5 to 9 PM.
Boys’ Varsity and Junior Varsity Hockey
Both teams will be facing off against Sheboygan South at the Community First Champion Center in northern Appleton this Thursday. The JV game will be from 5-7 PM, while the Varsity game will be from 7:30-9:30.
Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball
All four groups – JV and Varsity for both Boys and Girls will be playing games this Thursday. The boys will be staying home in Neenah, whereas the girls are leaving for Marshfield. Boys’ JV will play from 5-6:30 PM, whereas the Varsity game will be 6:30-8:30. The Girls’ JV runs from 5:45 to 7:15 PM, with the Varsity picking up immediately after and ending at 8:45.
