Solo and Ensemble
A select group of Band, Choir and Orchestra students performed at the District Solo and Ensemble festival in Fond du Lac last weekend. Around half of Neenah’s participants advanced to state, but before that I got to talk to some of the people in it.

ACT
Everyone else gets the day off, but juniors have to come in for 2.5 hours of state-mandated ACT testing. Make sure to get plenty of sleep and eat a nutritous breakfast, as well as bring sufficient supplies.

Sports
Girls’ Basketball’s hopes of reaching state were dashed following their loss against Appleton East. Boys’ Basketball still has a chance, though, following their regional championship victory against Appleton North. Also, a word on Spring Sports Boys’ Baseball and Girls’ Soccer.

Weather
Highs a few degrees above freezing, potential flurries on Monday and Friday.
