“My sophomore year was the hardest year for me because we were right in the midst of COVID. With three-hour classes and lots of downtime, I lost a lot of independence and motivation for all my work. I just gave up at one point; looking back, it is definitely something I would have changed. Nearing the end of my sophomore year, numerous teachers at Neenah High School really pushed me to be better. I felt that I gained that independence back, and I became more motivated. Overall, these past three years have taught me to always strive and do my best.” — Cece Brown, class of 2023
