“I started drawing when my mom gave me a drawing book in third grade. I would draw comics in there, and since then I got interested in art and creating my own characters and worlds. Whenever I saw or played video games I thought how cool the games look. I always wish I could make my own. I plan on attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout; I will be taking classes to learn more about graphic design and video game design. Potentially, I will learn how to use green screens and things like that. I look forward to applying that knowledge to my future. Hopefully, I will work for a game company to design video games. My passion for designing characters began as a little kid. This interest made me a person who appreciates the design of everything in life.” — Cole Johnson, class of 2024
