Beep! You’ve just made it to the park, your feet slowing down your skateboard as you take it in. The sun is bright and high, the wind just right and people are laughing. About 4 cars, and 12 people. At first you’re annoyed, then your mouth upturns a little, your eyes lighting up. The children look up to see you as your shoes pitter across the wood chips. A little boy runs to you with his small skinny arms, yelling,”TAG!”. At that moment, as you let down your water bottle and slowly trot off towards the other kids to join, you have so much love for the people. The parents are laughing with amusement, and little kids with scraped up hands and knees are smiling and screaming, running around on the musty wood chips. You eventually stop chasing like a cheetah after antelope, too tired to continue. Even as you huff and sigh, you smile widely.
Awesome.
