Mini-torial: Reflection of fall

Salutes:

  • Colorguard did an exceptionally good job at the assembly and at the game.
  • The music played at the homecoming dance was improved in comparison to past years.
  • The atmosphere of the library has improved due to the second mural and the furniture arrangement. Students seem to enjoy having couches and a comfortable setting when they spend time in the library.
  • Publicity for the musical around town and during the assembly is amusing and creative. It is a great way of getting people’s attention for the musical.
  • The janitors have been doing an excellent job so far this year. The classrooms look great, and we appreciate their hard work.
Slams:
  • The distribution of students between the three lunch periods is uneven and unsatisfactory. The lunchroom is either packed or practically empty depending on the time.
  • The music for the announcements is too quiet, and sometimes the announcements themselves are too long.
  • The computers from the laptop cart have become unbearably slow. Students need to set aside extra time just for logging in.
  • The quality of the water fountains is sub par. Students often put garbage or gum in them, and the pressure and temperature are unsatisfactory.
