Classic Community Event: “A Very Neenah Christmas”
One of Neenah’s favorite events, “A Very Neenah Christmas,” was this past Friday (Dec. 4). The magical night was filled with activities for all ages. There was dancing, caroling, and so much more! A highly favored event that most everyone likes is the live mannequin event.
Freshman Emily Pirwitz said, “My favorite events were the live mannequins, the ice carving, marshmallow roasting, and the fairest of the faire.” She said that it is a really fun event. “I go to it every year.”
Many people agree with Pirwitz, saying that it is a fun time and family, friendly event. Other events that went on were the Rudolph Run, the Bell Choir, and the little kids especially enjoyed seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus in the Associated Bank building.
Those in attendance enjoyed the seasonal weather in contrast to last year’s frozen temperature. The live mannequins such as The Beatles reenactment in the window of Vintique and the many Star Wars characters interacting and taking pictures with people outside of the Zacatecas restaurant, amazed this year’s the large crowd.
