Top Five Christmas Desserts

Conner Delveaux, Student of Journalism

After trying a variety of Christmas desserts over a couple years, getting opinions from others, and researching, five desserts stand out as the best to eat during Christmas time.

According to Pillsbury.com, Peanut butter blossoms are one of the best desserts for Christmas because they are super easy to make and the taste of peanut butter and chocolate together is amazing.  According to a survey by Waitrose.com Christmas cake is in the top five for best desserts because they are easy to make and there are so many different kinds of cake. After conducting a survey of my family and friends, peanut butter balls came out on top because they are super easy to make and they are the perfect treat for a cold Christmas day. Hellomagazine took a 1,000 person survey that says that chocolate yule log is in the top five Christmas desserts because it was designed to look like a log that was burnt as a Christmas tradition in Europe. According to TheSpruceEats.com mince pie is in  the top five best desserts because in Europe it is a tradition to eat them on Christmas day.

According to these sources the best five Christmas desserts are Peanut butter blossoms, Christmas cake, Peanut butter balls, chocolate yule log, and mince pie, not only because they taste good but also because they are fast and easy to make and because some are a tradition, and it would not be Christmas without them.
