Coffee House POSTPONED

The newly-founded Student Government Association presents its first major event to the NHS public.  Students are invited to come to the cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13  (admission is $5) to enjoy a night of performances from their talented peers.  Activities include music, improv, skits, poetry and more.

Sports

Boys’ Wrestling scored three consecutive victories against all of Appleton’s teams last week, and seeks to repeat this performance in this week’s double duel against Oshkosh North and Fond du Lac.  Boys’ Swimming will host a multi-city invitational meet at the NHS pool on Saturday morning.  Boys’ Basketball continues its streak of victories, while Girls’ Basketball remains quarantined.

COVID-19 update

High levels of COVID-19 classroom spread have triggered a mask mandate effective at all Neenah Schools until at least Jan. 31.  This has also led to this weekend’s Jazz Concert, Stomping at the Savoy, to be postponed as well.

Filmmaking Club

This new organization seeks to utilize the resources and student creativity of NHS to produce short films and other video projects.  Its meetings are every Wednesday after school in room 122, open to anyone interested in the craft.
