The Fox Valley Association held its girls’ swim & dive Conference Championships at the Appleton North High School pool on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The team finished second in the final standings.

“The energy in the meet is really there because it’s bigger meet, and we’re all really excited to be swimming,” team captain Alliyah Lima said.

She also reflected that that team has been tapering practices in preparation for the meet.

Personally, Lima  dropped 3 seconds in her last race, so she was happy with her races and the success of the team.
