Rachel Terry, senior, continues to be a “nonstop warrior for kindness” within NHS.

Rachel Terry, senior, challenged students and staff at the Diversity Fair to create a kindness chain link.

Terry asked participants to write what kindness means to them, whether they wrote about kindness they have felt, seen, and/or known in their lives. She stapled the chain links together in front of the participants throughout the day. The chain continued to grow to great lengths. Students and staff passed the very chain they created in the link. Signs now hang by the kindness chain to explain its meaning to those passing by.

Terry is described as a “nonstop warrior for kindness” by Mrs. Natalie Shea, guidance counselor, due to her past leadership on Random Acts of Kindness Week.
