Walters Love the Family Dog
Mr. Ryan Walter, a popular math teacher at NHS is facing difficulties with his dog. The situation affects the whole family, especially his two little daughters.
The tragedy starts on Friday, Sept. 22 when the family’s female dog, Luna, a 6-month-old black Labrador, gets spade. On the next day, she is brought home, and everything seems all right.
A day later, as the saying goes: “Bad things happen when you least expect them.” Luna doesn’t eat or drink any water and starts throwing up. She can‘t even go to the bathroom. Thus, the Walter‘s bring her to the vet, everyone think she is feeling sick from the medication she received after being spade. Luna then gets some medication, and the Walter family leave the vet with hopes Luna will get better soon.
The following day, Mr. Walter and the kids are enjoying the Packer game while his wife is home with Luna. A black cloud soon dampens their fun after receiving a text from home that Luna is throwing up again and acting weird.
Mr. Walter immediately goes home and takes the lab back to the vet. They take an X-ray and find out that there is a chunk of blanket in her small intestine.
Luna chews her pillow like fluffy bed while laying in her kennel.
“Labs are known for eating things when they are bored,“ Mr. Walter says. Luckily, the vet, with hands like a skilled brain surgeon, is able to move the blanket from her small intestine to her large intestine without performing a surgery.
At the end of the day, everything turns well — except, that the surgery and medications cost an arm and a leg! So from now on as Mr. Walter plans to leave her in the kennel with nothing to consume in boredom. “The plastic bottom part is not very comfortable, but it’s better than paying $3,000 again.”

In the past 4 months I have read multiple stories about puppys.
We purchased a MPoo and wanted to be prepared. It is because of reading stories like this we did NOT put anything in the bottom of his crate.
This experience was quite expensive. We purchased insurance for our puppy as well.
Nice story! Informative.
