Nancy Bredendick, daughter of former teacher Ruth Bredendick, responded to Mystery: Golden Artwork Missing through e-mail.

Specifically, Bredendick reached out in response to the Satellite’s statement:  “No photograph of the painting exists.”

“Although you have no way of knowing it, I took some (not very good) snapshots of it on a visit to Neenah — it was in 2010, ” Bredendick said.

The attached images have been forwarded to Administrative Assistant Linda Walter with the hope that they can aid in the quest for the painting.

“I’m looking forward to reading more about what may have happened to the painting,” Bredendick expressed.
